I'm excited to post today. I just did my normal work makeup routine and then everything just magically worked and I loved how it turned out. Does this happen to any of you?
I used my Gorgeous Cosmetics Custom Eye Everyday Palette for this eye look. The quality is incredible and the shadows just go on so smoothly and stay all day!. That's one of my favourite things about this palette (besides the amazing colours) is the fact that the shadows stay and don't slide everywhere throughout the day. Bonus these colours are amazing for blue eyed beauties.
I first put the skin tone colour (second from the left on the bottom) all over the lid but only up to the bottom of my brow bone. Then I blended the darkest brown shade (top right corner) through the crease and smoked it up a little. I have hooded eyes so I have to bring my colour up higher for it to be visible. Sigh. I made sure the crease itself was deeper in colour than the smoked area, then I placed the purple shade (second from the left, top row) all over my mobile lid below the crease. I then went back in with my crease colour to re darken it. Then I highlighted my brow bone and inner corner with the palest shade (bottom right corner). I finished off this eye look with a thin line of Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner and a good coat of Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara in Blackest Black on my top lashes only. I did go and add my Avon Mega Impact Gel Eyeliner in Aqua Pop into my waterline just to add a pop of colour and darken up my look a little.
And here is the outcome.
