Hey Gorgeous People,
These are my current favourites for my base, I am reaching for them everyday! Garnier Perfect Blur 5 Sec Primer, L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. The colours are a great match for me and they have great lasting power.
I have really been enjoying the new L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint foundation. The liquid to powder formula suits my skin perfectly and the shade is a fantastic match (which is rare). I apply from the bottle like you would an open topped perfume ( I would prefer a pump, but hey whatcha gonna do) and place a dot on each section of my face, forehead, each cheek, nose and chin and blend out with my fingers. (A buffing brush also does a nice job) If I feel the need I'll add a second layer on my cheeks, nose and chin. It wears really well it only wears off my nose a little throughout the day. I wear this to work and it lasts well throughout the day. I love that it dries down to a powder finish so it doesn't feel like I need to set this with powder. I have a combination / oily skin type and this works really well for me. I love the little glass bottle, I'm just super careful with it.
The Garnier Perfect Blur primer feels great and light weight, it doesn't feel like I'm putting silicone on my face which is a big plus for me. I feel it really does make a difference to the lasting power of my makeup and overall smoothness of the look. The amount you get could be bigger, that's my only issue though.
My Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is only fairly new to my collection (I know! Where have I been!?) I am in love with this product! New holy grail item right here. It is the perfect colour for me. I don't need to match it to a foundation, it is the right consistency that it easily covers and dark circle or spots and it lasts. The doe foot applicator is great for applying directly under eyes and on any spots that have appeared.
I think I'll be using this combo for a little while, it's fantastic!
