May Favourites

Hey Lovelies,

I love the idea of monthly favourites and how you can try and then fall in love with products so quickly or discover old favourites. So without more chatter here is my first ever favourites for the month of May.

Mario Badescu Skin Care (review to come!)
It only took three days for me to fall in love with this skincare range. It cleared up my skin and made it feel so comfortable and smooth. I got samples from Kit Cosmetics and the three I have used the most have been the Seaweed Cleansing Soap, Alpha Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion and Oil Free Moisturiser. I adore the moisturiser I plan on going out and buy the full size asap and the Alpha Grapefruit in full size too. I have another cleanser sample to try before I decide on that. I have already gone out and got the Drying Lotion which seems to be a huge favourite and I excited to see what this can do for my skin.

Maybelline Fit Me Liquid Foundation in 115.
This has been my go to foundation this month. Its a great shade ( I have a first impression of this foundation on my Insta for anyone who wants to see that.) The coverage is medium which is what I like, it's a dewy finish but I generally mattify it with powder. It lasts all day unless I'm sweating a lot (living in Queensland, whatcha gonna do) I wear this to work a lot and I just love it. Will definitely continue to use this.

Revlon Growluscious Mascara in Blackest Black.
This is something I've had for a while, loved, put away and eventually found my way back to it. It gives my such voluminous, long, inky, black lashes, the formula is fantastic and lasts, it gets a little flaky by the end of the day but that would be after 10 or so hours of wear and I have oily lids as well. Loving this right now.

Environ Pre Cleanse Oil. (Environ Review to come)
Environ is a salon range of high vitamin skincare. This pre clease oil is my must have skin care product by far. You apply it to dry skin, massage it in, wet hands and continue to massage and rinse off, follow with normal cleansing routine. This takes off all my makeup including eye makeup (I'm yet to try waterproof mascara, stay tuned!). The general rule is oil attracts oil so the oil pulls all the makeup, dirt and impurities out of your skin which you cleanse, brilliant!

Herbal Essences Naked Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. (Review to come)
I tried this mainly with the intention to use it on my makeup brushes, but I thought I would try it on my hair too. I am a convert! I get the nicest, softest, shiny hair after every wash. It has no silicons so it doesn't create a coating on your hair so the hair shaft isn't clogged with unnecessary product. My hair can be quite oily, with this duo I found my hair doesn't get as oily as quickly, I went out and bought the full size bottles before I even finished my sample bottles. I could only find this at Priceline Australia though and got it on special for AUD $4.99 per bottle.

I hope you've enjoyed my monthly favourites, I wonder if any of you share favourites with me? Let me know in the comments below! In between blogging you can find me on Instagram @shannonmichellebeauty

Until next time,

Shannon
